Associate Director, Alumni Events

PAE is seeking an Associate Director, Alumni Events to join a progressive team within our Alumni Relations Department. This position is responsible for managing the event logistics support for all Pitt Alumni Association (PAA) in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. This role will work closely with PAA program managers to lead the planning and coordination of programs and events including university-impact events, meetings, lectures, and receptions. This role will also manage at least one other team member in order to assist with the PAA's event needs.
- 3-5 years of experience in event planning required (preferably in higher education or non-profit sectors)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization, prioritization, project management skills and prior event planning experience a
- Site visits and travel outside of PA to assist with event logistics
