Adagio Health’s services include family planning and reproductive healthcare, breast and cervical cancer screenings and early detection programs, access to nutritional food, healthcare referrals, education and breastfeeding support to new moms, prenatal care, and education on topics such as healthy relationships and substance abuse.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TOBACCO PREVENTION AND CONTROL PROGRAM MANAGER
The Program Manager works on a variety of activities, which include managing projects and supervising staff; managing subcontractors and external partners; collaborating with internal partners and other departments; oversight of project budgets; identifying new partnerships; managing relationships with funders; preparing reports for supervisor, leadership, and funders; developing necessary projects and pilots to address gaps in services. The position reports to the Senior Director of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TOBACCO PREVENTION AND CONTROL PROGRAM MANAGER
- Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in public health, public administration, social work, or other social science field preferred
- 3-5 years related professional experience
- Ability to organize time and manage diverse activities
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and leadership skills
- Management experience required
- Experience in managing external partners
- Experience with databases, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Interest in health promotion and disease prevention
