The Allegheny County Bar Foundation Juvenile Court Project is accepting applications for the full-time position of Administrative Assistant. A college degree is required. Experience in a legal office is preferred.
The Juvenile Court Project is a law office that represents indigent parents in dependency and termination of parental rights proceedings in Allegheny County.
The Administrative Assistant will report to the Director and provide support managing the daily operations of the JCP office by handling a variety of administrative, secretarial and clerical tasks.
Position Duties Include:
- Maintaining and updating databases and tracking systems, calendars, schedules, office forms, operations and procedural manuals
- Answering phone calls and emails and helping to monitor and coordinate the flow of information internally and externally with stakeholders
- Preparing and editing professional correspondence, letters, memos, presentations, and spreadsheets
The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, able to multitask and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as, strong computer skills and high proficiency with MS Office Suite.
