Auberle is a growing, nationally recognized, award winning human service organization that serves 4,000 individuals and families each year. Auberle operates over two dozen programs in 16 Western PA counties out of eight sites with 200 staff and a $16M+ budget.

We are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our Finance team. Reporting to and partnering with the CEO, the CFO will set Auberle’s financial policy and direction while also being an active participant in, and driver of, the organization’s overall strategy. The CFO is a mission-focused and energetic leader who helps drive the continuous quality improvement and performance culture among a group of diverse, talented individuals that make the agency a national leader. The CFO is ultimately responsible for the oversight of all accounting and financial reporting activities, internally and externally, but also a leader in the strategy to have Auberle remain financially strong.

Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, and reporting and have strong analytical skills; be solution oriented; possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, mission driven environment. The ideal candidate enjoys hard work and looking for challenges; is able to act and react as necessary and is not afraid to take charge of a situation. This position requires someone with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, manage and lead people; be a team builder and team player with the ability to connect to staff, peers and superiors. A demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for Auberle’s Mission is essential.

A Bachelor’s Degree with a major in accounting, business or finance preferred, and a minimum of 7 years professional-level experience in accounting or finance, including experience supervising others. Non-profit experience preferred. Candidates will be required to apply for Act 33/34 clearances (criminal and child abuse) as well as FBI clearance and a full credit report. Pre-employment drug screening and random employment drug testing required.
