Overview:  This position assists in the organizations recruitment efforts. The Recruitment Specialist will work across departments to assist in interviewing and identifying the best candidates for each position. The position will work with the Talent Acquisition Administrator to recruit and attract a diverse pool of qualified employees to the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit candidates using databases, existing HRIS, social media, etc.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled, effective timelines, and identify profiles of ideal candidates for screening and sourcing efforts.
  • Manage job posting process, as well as inbound internal applications/referrals and update candidate records within the HRIS.
  • Utilize recruiting best practices to identify and implement effective recruiting channels for the organization.
  • Create, prepare, and maintain standardized database of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials for departmental use.
  • Coordinate, conduct, and attend career fairs as needed with organizational partners, when requested.
  • In partnership with the Talent Acquisition Administrator, implement Familylinks’ recruitment plan to incorporate DEI strategies and support inclusive initiatives by the agency.
  • Use and encourage the use of new technology to improve the candidate experience.
  • Track and analyze various KPIs such as time to hire, cost per hire, interview/hire ratio, etc.
  • Provide follow-up communication to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Provide support and participate in all Human Resources Department functions.
  • All other duties as directed or assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred
  • Previous HRIS experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and willingness to take the initiative on projects
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to main confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Professionalism in all written and verbal communication.
  • Support the organization’s mission along with sensitivity of cultural and workplace harmony.
  • Strong computer and communication skills.
  • The position must have the ability to handle employees and applicants in a professional manner, manage multiple priorities effectively, and maintain confidential records.
