MWCDC is accepting nominations for our 2021 Board Elections.
Interested applicants should submit a resume and cover letter to email@example.com by 4:00 PM on August 8, 2021.
All candidates must be (1) a member of the MWCDC, (send an email with full name, address, email & phone to firstname.lastname@example.org subject line Member) (2) a resident of, owner of property located in, or owner of a business, institution or organization located in Mount Washington or Duquesne Heights, (3) at least eighteen years old, and (4) able to communicate by email.
Board members attend monthly Board meetings, bi-monthly Committee meetings and monthly Community Forum meetings and participate in and guide MWCDC programs and events – expect to spend an average of 10 hours every month on MWCDC business.
MWCDC is interested in and committed to building an inclusive and diverse Board from candidates who possess different types of professional and personal backgrounds and who reflect the gender, racial/ethnic, economic, social, age and religious diversity of The Mount.
