Olmo Ling is a small religious (Buddhist) non profit organization in Greenfield, Pittsburgh. We offer Buddhist meditation and teachings, including continuing education workshops for clinicians, with a significant online component. Our local community welcomes children and couples of all genders. We also operate a small online store. This past year our organization has experienced sustained growth while operating exclusively online. We are looking for a flexible, motivated individual who brings familiarity with non profit work and will grow with the organization and with the position. The candidate should have very good computer skills, including but not limited to spreadsheets, gmail, and zoom.

The Operations & Community Relations Manager ensures the smooth and reliable operation of Olmo Ling Bon Center and Institute. Administrative duties include logistics for events; correspondence with clients, other centers and continuing education partners; website updates and newsletters; and communication with the landlord regarding facility issues. The position oversees operation of the Olmo Ling store including shipping items, making store updates, and maintaining good relationships with wholesale customers.

The Operations & Community Relations Manager will help us grow by implementing donor management software, strengthening our outreach through newsletters, and suggesting ideas for improving website functionalities (to be implemented by the Olmo Ling programmer). The ideal candidate will also do bookkeeping in Quickbooks with the guidance of our accountant.

10-15 hours/week. Payment can be hourly or a fixed monthly salary. Hours may be extended over time as the organization and position grows. The position will be remote initially, although physical presence in the Pittsburgh area is required to handle shipping of bookstore purchases.
