Work Schedule and Hours: Typical office hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but extended afternoon, evening and weekend work is required to be successful in this position. Office hours and conditions are adjusted to meet the needs of the position.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School (OLSH) located in Moon Township, PA, an independent, Catholic high school enrolling students in grades 9-12, seeks an advancement professional to join the Advancement Office in the role of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations Manager. A ministry of the Felician Sisters, OLSH educates and transforms young men and women for lives of Christian leadership, stewardship, and service to all. Originally founded in 1932 as an all-girls school, OLSH has grown to be the largest, most comprehensive, independent, co-ed Catholic high school in the area.
The Annual Giving & Alumni Engagement Manager drives fundraising success by developing and implementing multichannel cultivation and solicitation strategies for donors who give gifts up to $1,000 per year. The Manager plays key roles in all aspects of annual fundraising, including direct mail, email solicitation, event fundraising, social media solicitation, developing giving forms, and making website updates. Key to success in the role will be the recruitment and mobilization of volunteer advocates who will engage their networks and encourage giving.
It is essential for the position to drive growth of the annual fund (beyond the current level of $200,000). The Manager will conceive, design, and implement various fundraising campaigns that speak to the philanthropic interests of specific donor segments and that motivate individuals to make regular annual donations.
The Annual Giving & Alumni Engagement Manager will work closely with the Vice President for Advancement to define annual giving objectives, strategies, and steps for achieving the fundraising goals of the school. The Manager will also collaborate with key school leaders to identify, recruit, motivate, train, and support volunteer leadership.
The Annual Giving & Alumni Engagement Manager oversees all functions of alumni relations including participating in the OLSH Alumni Council; planning special events designed for alumni; and implementing services and activities that engage alumni which ultimately result in increased participation in the life of OLSH. The Annual Giving & Alumni Engagement Manager will serve as the main point of contact for OLSH alumni for all non-academic related needs.
- Bachelor’s degree (All degrees must have been earned from appropriately accredited institutions.
- Two to three years of experience in fundraising with a focus on annual fund campaign
- Strong belief in Catholic education and support of the mission of the School.
- Superior communication (written and verbal), relationship development and problem-solving skills required.
- Experience utilizing fundraising software, (experience utilizing Rasier’s Edge Fundraising Software preferred)
- Proficiency with a variety of software packages, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
