In our Diversion and Acute Stabilization (DAS) Program, we provide short-term residential support for adults 18 years and older.  The program provides support to individuals with daily and living activities, medication/health/well-being needs, and coordination for community involvement.  The program offers a structured residential treatment setting where individuals can make significant improvements in stability while developing the foundation for ongoing recovery.

What to Expect

As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse you will provide care from a health and clinical standpoint for the individuals in our DAS and Partial programs.  The RN is a team member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and provides psychiatric and general medical coordination with the psychiatrist/prescribers to address their physical and mental illness while in the program.  This person will also provide education and coaching to other staff to ensure the best clinical approaches are used to maximize each individual’s success.

Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meets with prescribers and individual consumers for Mental Health medication check appointments
  • Provides medication monitoring and supportive therapy services, including administration of injectable medications per MD order
  • Works closely with psychiatrist and other members of the treatment team to provide necessary care, including individual/group interventions
  • Collaborates with Service Coordinators to refer consumers to other agency programs and outside resources
  • Maintains medication cabinet, ensures medication counts of controllable medications are being completed, provides medication training, and is responsible for all required documentation within agency and payer standards


Two day a week/daylight hours

Position Requirements

  • Graduate from an approved nursing program and current PA RN license
  • Three years of nursing experience in a behavioral health setting
  • Child and FBI clearances required
