Verona Borough is seeking qualified applicants to fill the role of Borough Secretary. The Borough is 13 miles from downtown Pittsburgh and located along the Allegheny River.  It has a population of 2,474 and is governed by a seven-member Council.

Core responsibilities of the Borough Secretary include administering policies and procedures of the Borough, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, citizen assistance and communication, oversight of the financial recordkeeping and reporting, and coordination and communication among Borough staff, officials and citizens. The successful applicant will have a Bachelor’s Degree in public administration or related field, three or more years of administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
