Heuer House was founded in 2005 and is a 501c3 non-profit faith-based recovery services organization dedicated to providing a safe, affordable, sober and structural living atmosphere to individuals recovering from alcohol and drug addiction. Our goal is to encourage and instill personal growth through educational, counseling, work-force training and spiritual development.
Heuer House’s addiction treatment philosophy centers around offering evidence-based and individualized treatment solutions for individuals and families struggling with drug and alcohol addiction as well as co-occurring disorders. Heuer House strives to heal residents and their families from a life of active addiction, including alcoholism, to a life of hope and healing with an individualized approach to addiction treatment and a comprehensive continuum of care.
From 2005-2018, Heuer House was operated by its founders—the Heuer family—offering private pay recovery residential and 12-step treatment services. In 2018, the organization’s operations were transferred to its current leadership, and services were expanded to include wraparound education and social services. Since 2018, Heuer House has served 515 unduplicated individuals.
