I’ve never posted on Nonprofit Talent before. Will you notify me when new candidates apply for my job?
- In short, no. We’re helping to serve as the connection point between your organization and great talent. We don’t want to complicate things by getting in the middle of this relationship. We streamline this by having candidates apply directly to your organization via the email address or link you provide to us when posting your board, volunteer, intern, or employment opportunity.
Why am I required to list compensation information when posting a job?
- At Nonprofit Talent, we’re advocates for equitable hiring practices and want to help our clients and customers get there as well. Much has been written about the nonprofit sector’s role and responsibility in taking the lead on these practices, and increasing transparency and accountability - https://www.councilofnonprofits.org/thought-leadership/can-new-laws-and-practices-address-pay-disparities and https://www.nten.org/article/youre-not-serious-about-equity-if-you-dont-post-salaries/. Let’s work together to make the nonprofit sector a more fair, equitable, and transparent place.
