Located in South Williamsport, PA, we are the administrative and operational headquarters for Little League Baseball and Softball, the leading nonprofit youth sports organization with over 75 years of history supporting youth baseball and softball. Little League® is played in approximately 6,500 communities across more than 80 countries around the world. We believe in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. 

PHILANTHROPY AND SOCIAL IMPACT DEPARTMENT   

Baseball and softball, deeply rooted in American tradition, have become global passions that unite diverse cultures through camaraderie and competition. Beyond community engagement, these sports shape character, foster friendships, strengthen communities, and promote positive youth experiences. At the heart of this global movement is Little League International, an organization that upholds the highest standards of integrity, inclusion, and sportsmanship. 

In 2023, Little League conducted a comprehensive assessment to explore philanthropy’s potential and support strategic initiatives for growth and better service to communities, families, volunteers, and youth participants. In 2024, this assessment led to the creation of the Philanthropy and Social Impact Department, and the development of funding priorities aimed at addressing critical areas for significant participation impact. 

 Little League’s Philanthropy and Social Impact Department aims to create a more inclusive, supportive, and enriching environment for all participants, ensuring the legacy of Little League.
