Mount Alvernia Daycare and Learning Center is a Franciscan Ministry located in Millvale and Shaler township and has a 35+ year long history with the community. Generations of Pittsburgh area families have enrolled their children at MADC for high-quality childcare, playing an important role in the early childhood education of so many children - getting children ready for kindergarten, allowing families to continue their careers, and providing a caring environment that nurtures social and emotional development. From potty training to learning the alphabet, MADC provides compassionate support to early learners based on Franciscan values. MADC’s board, in partnership with the Sisters of St. Francis, are seeking an Executive Director to lead MADC into a bright next chapter as we prepare to discover what is next for our Center on the Mount Alvernia campus.
