PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS:

Style412 is a go-to resource for fashion education dedicated to cultivating Pittsburgh’s industry professionals and emerging talent. We provide programming to teach technical skills and function as a community think tank, offering ongoing mentorship, workshops, and signature programming.

Launched “FashionLab” in 2022. Created for aspiring fashion designers, Style412 FashionLab will teach students, ages 9-11, the components necessary to complete a fashion collection with an emphasis on sustainable practices. Each program is designed to offer flexibility and fit the needs of each partnered organization with various skill levels and curricula to choose from. Sample curricula might include mood board development through material selection according to design specifications, machine sewing, and custom patternmaking.

Launched “Showroom” in 2021, a digital accelerator and online platform to showcase emerging fashion designers. Brands and creative partners are selected to be part of a cohort and join a 10-week accelerator program. Through the accelerator, each participant is assigned a dedicated mentor, invited to weekly intensive workshops, and given the tools to accelerate their brand.
