The Forbes Funds (TFF) has a 42-year history of advancing the well-being of human services and community-based nonprofits – a sector that generates well over $9bil annually in total economic output - build their management capacity and increase the impact of their mission work. In recent years, The Forbes Funds has led innovation in this sector with initiatives such as the Executive in Residence program, the Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership (GPNP), and the newly developed Catalytic Community Cohort Model (C3). Our work allows us to routinely connect with many of these organizations and as an intermediary foundation, TFF supports nonprofits both as individual organizations and as a unified coalition of leaders, funders, and advocates working collaboratively and aligning this work with the Social Determinants of Health and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
