The Frick Pittsburgh (the Frick) is a collection of museums and historical landmarks located on five acres of stunning lawns and gardens in Pittsburgh’s historic East End. With world-class art exhibitions, lively public events, and engaging educational programs, the Frick welcomed more than 140,000 visitors in 2019. Post pandemic, we are rebuilding our in-person audience and ultimately expect to attract even greater numbers of guests with our innovative and appealing offerings. The site includes:
· The Frick Art Museum
· The Car and Carriage Museum
· Clayton, the historic home of industrialist Henry Clay Frick
· Grable Visitor Center & Museum Store
· Education Center
· Greenhouse, Playhouse, Café & Gardens
The Frick’s mission is to share “authentic experiences with art, history and nature that inspire and delight”— work that furthers the vision of our founder, Helen Clay Frick. With a mindset of radical empathy and a commitment to become an anti-racist organization, the Frick’s dedicated team seeks to realize our vision of offering “experiences of discovery, inspiration and learning” that are “essential to people’s lives and to the cultural fabric of our region.”
