Salary range: $47,000 - $50,000

About this Position
We’re searching for a skilled Project Manager to oversee projects in the workforce development space. The Project Manager oversees a structured approach to project management. They will be responsible for monitoring multiple projects, prioritizing deliverables, providing regular updates, and driving projects through to completion. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams, facilitate meetings, reduce the impact of silos, and promote best practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Influence without authority, drive projects forward through transparency and communication across team members.
- Drive projects across cross functional teams, prioritizing deliverables based on importance, outcome, and urgency. Provide recommendations to Project Owners when decisions are necessary.
- Provide transparency to stakeholders through visibility into current project steps, blocking actions, and proposed solutions. Work to eliminate silos across the organization.
- Maintain Documentation to provide continuity and legacy. Maintain Project Reports including Project Charters, Monthly Dashboards, Narrative Reports and Performance Reports to keep stakeholders updated and maintain historical knowledge with the organization.
- Facilitate Project Meetings, ensuring the correct audience, sending Agendas to drive conversations, and emailing recaps to update all stakeholders on current progress.
- Own Projects in Asana, collaborating asynchronously with team members to maintain accountability on project deliverables.
- Foster an environment of inclusion and collaboration, where all voices are heard and relationships are built on shared successes for all partners.
- Escalate blockers and concerns one level higher immediately to alert leadership to problems.
P4W Ambassador
- Contributes to the development of a supportive and collaborative work environment through active participation in internal collaborations, team, and activities.
- Provide a high level of customer service for existing and prospective program partners through transparent, accessible, and open dialogue about the organization’s strategy and prospective projects.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years project management experience, minimum
- Experience managing the various phases of a project from Initiation to Close.
- Forward looking thinker, who proactively seeks opportunities for improvements and proposes solutions
- Professional Certification such as PMP or SCRUM preferred but not required
- Hands-on experience using project management tools and processes such as project charters, RAID logs, and Asana or other Project Management Software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership and desire to take initiative
- Strong team player with problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
