Senior Director of Community Services
Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our Agency oversees 20 residential settings, two outpatient offices, three adult training facilities, a prevocational enterprise program, a consumer drop-in center, habilitation services, and two Health Care Quality Units in Butler and Warren, which train professionals in 18 counties. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.
Responsible for the overall leadership and management of the community behavioral health service lines, ensuring delivery of the highest quality services. This position manages and evaluates the ongoing financial and operational priorities of community behavioral health services, supervises the development and implementation of plans and programs by monitoring performance and evaluation tools and standards used to determine effectiveness; approves and prepares reports submitted to the state, county, federal and other regulatory agencies and participates in all licensing visits.

- Provides leadership and supervision to the agency’s community behavioral health teams and actively collaborates with staff to fulfill the Agency’s mission.
- Utilizes Sanctuary Model’s shared values, the Sanctuary Seven Commitments, and tools to conduct daily tasks and maintains a strong understanding of trauma and its impact on individuals, organizations, and communities.

- Works with the Executive Director to fulfill the Agency’s mission, advance best practices, and routinely reports on current conditions and operational status.
- Participates in, tracks all metrics involved with, and meets required submission timelines of the Value Based Purchasing (VBP) (BHHP) model related to the community behavioral health programs.
- Establishes, monitors, and reports on department and program specific productivity measures.
- Monitors and responds to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Plans, formulates, and executes new program and service development.
- Identifies and evaluates opportunities for stabilization and growth of the community behavioral health programs.
- Serves or delegates a liaison for community outreach, and local, state, and federal agencies.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with other agencies within the local and statewide provider network and maintains a strong presence in provider advocacy associations.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with providers, businesses, and community members in the Wilkinsburg area to expand current local programming.
- Maintains all appropriate licenses and ensures compliance standards from local, state, and federal regulations are fulfilled.
- Oversees all financial and budgetary planning and execution within the community behavioral health continuum of care.
- Establishes and maintains contracts with associations and organizations which will benefit and promote the Agency’s mission.
Qualifications:
- A graduate degree in a human service-related field is strongly desired.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience of executive-level leadership experience in a human services organizational setting
- Affiliation with and leadership in local, state, or national professional or trade associations related to human services is preferred
- Act 33, 34 clearance and FBI background check, if applicable
- Valid PA Driver’s license
- First Aid & CPR, certification
Salary:
Starting at $70,000 - $80,000 /year
