Omicelo Cares Company Overview:

Omicelo Cares is a non-profit organization that believes neighborhoods can create promise for all community members. We support communities by exposing the path to a living wage through real estate and asset investments.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to grow community members’ incomes in low-to-moderate income neighborhoods through specialized real estate education and deep supports for small businesses.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the growth and sustainability for all Educational programs within Omicelo Cares. This position is critical to ensuring continued success and growth for all programs including community engagement alumni relations, curriculum development, and outcome and outputs development. This individual will spend 70-80% of their time managing a team to achieve organizational outcomes. The growth and success of these programs relies on public relation activities and an individual to represent the organization as a subject matter expert on wealth building strategies and education.

Position Duties:

Performs under the general supervision of the Executive Director and is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Essential Duties:

  • Expand Omicelo Care’s geographical impact by identifying communities throughout the country to host our programs
  • Serve on the national stage as the face of education around wealth building strategies.
  • Enhance the experience and quality of all educational programs · Build national strategic partnerships to grow overall program presence and program sustainability. This includes fundraising.
  • Maintain the quality and success of all programs
  • Manage and develop budget for overall programs
  • Manage an effective team nationally

  • Outstanding customer service principles and practices within a diverse work and customer environment.
  • Perform other related duties as apparent or assigned.

Training and Experience (position requirements at entry)

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ experience in education/training and business.

Work Environment:

Normal office environment 40% of the time. 60% of the time out in the field and attending meetings.
