Summary: Westmoreland Cultural Trust (WCT) is a regional leader in arts and entertainment and owns and operates the historic Palace Theatre and manages the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, both located in Greensburg. WCT is seeking a highly motivated person to cultivate donors to support the mission and growth of the organization. The Donor Relations Coordinator reports to the Marketing, Development & Membership Manger and will lead projects to form donor partnerships and create unique donor events and experiences.

The Donor Relations Coordinator oversees strategies for cultivating individual gifts, developing donor strategies, and stewarding donors in a creative work environment.

 Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

  •  Develops and implements strategies for donor acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship of donors to foster active engaged relationships with supporters, members, and patrons. Strategies include direct mail, email, print newsletters, web content and events.
  • Creates donor stewardship through acknowledgment of contributions and positive donor engagement, including donor recognition opportunities.
  • Analyzes operational and sales reports to identify opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenues and build brand awareness.
  • Develops an annual giving strategy and project plan that includes proposed annual budget recommendations, monitoring and reporting plans and key benchmarks and dates.
  • Develops surveys to gather feedback from donors, members, and prospective donors (including patrons), manages data gathering and analysis.

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience with donor identification, project-management, relationship-building, and fundraising experience, particularly with a non-profit organization.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to establish effective relationships with donor.
  • High degree of professionalism and the ability to work independently and solve problems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and participate fully as a team member.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office software products. Experience with PatronManager, Salesforce, a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare formal publications.
  •  Experience developing and implementing project plans and executing them across a department.
  • Knowledge of budgets and revenue projections.

 This is a full-time position and salary range is dependent on experience. Additional benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid PTO and an employer matched Simple IRA.
